Throughout the show his eyes were glued to the performers, as they spoke, jumped, juggled, cartwheeled, interacted with the audience, ran inside and out of the audience areas, he didn't miss a single second of the show.

We were members at the library long before we even thought of starting a family. But we used it only for its primary purpose to loan books to read and return. Now with the addition of Bubu I am always on the lookout for interesting, enriching experiences to introduce to Bubu. I was aware of storytime in the afternoon but for working parents it may not be a choice. So I decided to browse the bulletin board of our local library, we learnt that it hosts different shows for kids.

'Circus of smiles' was one of them. As we looked around for a place to sit, I noticed the set up. I started to feel maybe this show is not suitable for my Bubu's age group (14 months). But Bubu proved me wrong. Like completely. Throughout the show his eyes were glued to the performers, as they spoke, jumped, juggled, cartwheeled, interacted with the audience, ran inside and out of the audience areas, he didn't miss a single second of the show. If anyone would come in front of his line of sight he would bend to get his view.

Of course he probably did not understand the jokes as the 3 year old+ kids did. He hardly laughed or even smiled like them during the performance. It was nearing nap time, that could also be the culprit for his poker face. He did clap at several instances.

At the grand finale, he was shocked looking at one performer stand on the shoulders of another. He pushed me and wanted to stand on his feet to get a more clear picture of what he was witnessing.

Takeaway

Worth it! Find out your local Library and enroll today. It mostly will have tons of things to offer for nominal or free of cost. And be aware even though this is coming at such low price, all they offer is really high quality. They cater to all age-groups with shows, classes to learn, perfect a skill, learn a language or acquire a new hobby, story-time for all age groups (yes even adults), hobby club, music, etc apart from of course what libraries primarily offer books to borrow for a read. We are pleasantly surprised and I'm sure so will you.

Cons

Our experience with attending shows is they have long lines due to limited seating. You may have to be an hour in a line to enjoy a show. So "All the Best!"
